  • What do you mean by Smash?

5 warriors met up to tack a bit more mileage on a bootcamp. 3.5 mile run + 2.5 mile = 6 miles of fun. At one point YHC recorded a 8:30 pace. Good work men!

YHC took us out. Capture energy and share it!

  • Solo trip to The Bridge

YHC drove up to serve up a beat down for 5 pax at the Bridge.

COP: Ssh, DonQs, IWs, Mertens, Flutterkicks.

With 6 we did extensive partner work: Catch me if you can, PLTs, Dora, then some block work, including Block the Plank. Finish with some sprints and Ring of Fire.

NMS: Solid pax and morning at the Bridge. Highly recommend taking a Q.

  • Moroccan nightclubs

16 men of F3 up and ready to take on the day. 70 and Sunny. F3Suncoast in Sarasota Fla gave a great welcome to YHC.

Moroccan Nightclubs were on the menu today and you bet YHC kept his mouth shut . YHC learned a great lesson from Doozy and he didn’t want thisQ to punish the pax especially with theAlligators close by

  • It was a Square J Kind of Day

Sixteen (or was it seventeen?) Saturday morning thrill seekers stretched and waited for the Q to arrive before YHC grabbed the reigns and off we went to the field in front of the carrilon for:

    COP

    • SSH x25
    • High Knees x10
    • Helicopters x10
    • DQ x10
    • Mountain Climbers x10
    • Merkins x10
    • Wilson’s Wife
    • Fudd’s Wife

    The Thang

Since we were on the field, YHC called triple check on the field. Group into threes with exercises being merkins, freddie mercuries, while the pace car bernie sanders down and back to the last tree on the right before the gap. YHC passed to Bacon Bits

Bacon Bits had us mosey to ye old stage and grab some coupons before partnering up for Dora. Exercises were 100x overhead presses, 200x squat swings, 300x curls. Pace car ran to the third tree. This took a while then Bacon passed it to Mr Rogers.

Mr Rogers led us to the triangle for a tribute to Garbage Plate. Partner up, one person runs the triangle while the other progresses through bear crawls, lunges, polar bears, broad jump burpees. Then pass to Wilson.

Wilson led us to the amphitheater for a short triple check. Merkins, LBCs, while the pace car ran up 8 steps and returned. Plenty of name combinations shouted with the most memorable being Bacon Gas. Wilson had us mosey back to the flag before passing it back to YHC (presumably because he didn’t want to write the BB).

YHC led us through 3.5 minutes of mary including American Hammers, Rosalitas, Dollys, and LBCs before finishing promptly at 07:00.

Numbers (someone was skipped), names (no one was skipped), before YHC and then Hitchhiker took us out.

    Announcements

    • Shiplap’s big day is tomorrow! Keep him and his new family in your prayers.
    • Prayers for our PAX who are recovering, especially Lab Rat. We are with you brother.
    • As of today, commenting on backblasts on the website has been disabled. Use Slack to comment on backblasts. If you aren’t on slack, as a friend or ask me.

    Moleskin

Many of the PAX were expecting a tire to be dropped off somewhere, which must have been why the Q wasn’t in attendance. Turns out the signed up Q just overslept. Make sure to ping him on Slack and let him know how much we appreciate him.

Great to be at Dogpile two weeks in a row. Going to have to make this a more regular thing… Great coffeeteria afterwards where we solved all problems IT related.

    SYITG!

    NMS

Today was the 2nd of 7 planned DaVille Takeovers which will go until December. It was great being back at my old high school running through some familiar neighborhoods and others that didn’t exist 30 years ago. For those who have not run in the far west end, its hilly. I enjoyed the conversations I had with the PAX during the run which included mostly topics related to the areas that surround Godwin. It was nice meeting Lighthouse today. YHC is also anticipating a return trip to Currahee in the near future as he was close to having an FNG post there today as well as seeing one of his friends with his daughter run through the campus of Godwin during the COT.

YHC answered the call to take the longest travel this morning for takeover today. Arrived about 15 mins early to look over the AO (It had been over a year and half since the last trip to New Market). At 5:25 YHC was still the lone wolf and wondering if the New Market crew decided to take a vaca today. Luckily at 5:27, Heist made his way down the hill shortly after Mamaduke made his way down.

Great mumble chatter this morning catching up with Duke and meeting Heist. TClaps go out to Mamaduke for posting 4 days in a row after his vaca last week

Looking forward to the next Daville Takeover Day in Aug on Monday the 8th

    SPIT ON THAT!!

RAMM had 17 post this morning for a morning run. YHC as part of the DaVille Takeover for this Friday had posted 2 routes on slack a 5 and 6 mile route. The five mile route was actually just under 4.86 miles. This was a simple route Commonwealth to Broad to Libbie to grove to AO. Marv ran the 6 mile route (Take a right on Staples Mill to Libbie Place and this runs into Libbie to Carytown Road and doubled back to grove from Carytown (to run back to school on a safer road) and this was just over 6 miles.
