0427 YHC pulls into the FW parking lot only to see one lonely car. Splinter was putting on his reflective vest to do pre run. Since there were no other Broga enthusiasts YHC considered running until Splinter said he was doing Fartlicks. YHC made the final decision to Broga. Great morning stretching and having a conversation why I wasn’t at home asleep, but it was good. Quiet morning at FW with guys down range, traveling to other AO’s, and fartsacking. Splinter won’t write himself a backblast so I’m including him in this one.

A trio of Brogiis were tempted by the offer of pounding pavement for 30 minutes but to avail. Some consideration was had, but the allure of soothing Shavasana tones were too strong for this group on this day. Hips, shoulders and hammys were emphasized this morning. Back and glutes were not ignored followed by a very relaxing meditation/slumber at the conclusion. Some mumble chatter could be heard over the coyotes howl. Great work gents.
Is the best Broga. Also, when its in front of a church with a tall steeple. And, when Last Call brings his strap-ons, I mean straps. We had fun loosening up for Last Call’s 55 degree sweatfest. The weather app said cloudy, but the only cloud around was a yellowish-brown one that Hutton cooked up. SYITG! Kubota
While out on my run, coming out of the woods I bump into House Party. He wondered if there was any broga, said yes we ran for a bit(he bailed), I told him let me get one more lap in meet back at the lot. Finished up, rolled the mat steam coming off my head decided let’s get a little stretch in prior. Started out some grounded side bends cat and cow next, then to child’s pose with lazy up-dog, back to down dog from there into lizard pose, followed up with pushing the hip and knee out, turning into…
A pair of Broga regulars avoided the temptation of a prebeatdown run with Splinter in favor of a limbersome beatdown in the shadows of the church steeple. Shoulders, back, hammys, hips and glutes were the locations of emphasis. Nice discussion regarding international travel and conversation avoidance with the general public. Great start to a quality Upchuck beatdown.
A fine looking group of 3 insomniacs met earlier than most for a loosening of various body parts and relaxation of others. As advertised, conditions were ideal for working of glutes, back, shoulders, hips and hammys. Happy endings with a relaxing shavasana. Seems EF Hutton was making a pitstop while passing thru on his summer tour adventures. Safe travels.
ONE pax looked left, right, and left again before crossing over the walking path to do a few minutes of Broga, solo-style. Temperatures remained a constant 70 and sunny. According to two bucks (6 point and 10 point, YHC guesses who watched YHC on the prior run), the following might have happened. Stretch. Stretch right. Stretch left. Chest stretch. Back Stretch. Leg Stretch. Other Leg Stretch. And, so forth. No shivasavan today. YHC didn’t want anyone calling 911 when they saw a sweaty, slightly overweight guy laying down in the parking lot, alone. YHC notes: If the PAX desire to…
Before the Splinter No-Toll beat down, Last Call joined YHC for some quality Broga action this morning. Always great to hang out with this dude and catch up on life and families. We got some good stretching in as well. Last Call is leading the nationwide lawsuit against Delta for shutting down his trip to South America. Please see him for all your complaints.
A pair of brogii veterans were joined by a rookie for an early morning sweat stretch at the humid courts of No Toll. Shoulders and back were emphasized with some hips and glutes added for good measure. Moved onto legs before finishing with a short but sweet Shavasana. She was thick today but good conversation and times were had by all.
After we finished the pre-workout of pull ups and dips, time for broga with yours truly. A nice little 15 minutes of various movements(up, down dog, Warrior 2, reverse warrior, triangle, side angle, ending with pigeon(big rig’s case figure 4). The pavilion was also where my shirt stayed due to it being soaked with the morning rains. Yes I am trying to get lighter….I have the strength that is not the issue, for myself the muscle endurance is what I need to work on. I have been doing more yoga at home plus push ups, squats, jump rope other things…
