    3rd F (Faith)

    • Thank you Boberry for taking us this morning in COT
    • 3rd F this upcoming Tuesday (YHC) on Q (focus on Job) Open discussion on what would your breaking point be.
    • F3 is Mens organization rooted in Fitness, Fellowship, and Faith.
      • Job is an example of Faith in the Qur’an, the Torah, and the Bible. Therefore our discussion will be on faith and not on a specific religion.
        • “Job (Ayub) was a prosperous man, with faith in Allah/God/Yahweh living somewhere in the north-east corner of Arabia. He suffers from a number of calamities: his cattle are destroyed, his servants slain by the sword, and his family crushed under his roof.

  • Saved by Doozy

YHC was resigned to doing the Iron Pax with the 3 Iron warriors this AM. Not that there is anything wrong with that. No New Marketeers in tow and wolf light numbers I was resigned to joining in the fun. Asked Doozy on arrival if he wanted to join and he grimaced so away we went on a Nancy Q.

Mosey to front bus loop for COP: 20 SSH, 10 DQ, 10 cherry pickers, deadman hang, 10 merkins, 15 LBC’s, 15 dollies, 15 flutters. Mosey to light pole

Light pole alley escalator. Start at 10 reps build by 10 up to 90 completing reps on each end with run in between. exercises 10 Drydocks, 20 jump squats, 30 WWII’s, 40 merkins, 50 Squats, 60 Merkins, 70 Mountain climbers, 80 Monkey humpers, 90 second plank/90 second AG. Off to tennis courts for a quick 4 corner with 20 SSH’s on corners. To the wall for 2 rounds of donkey kicks with peoples chair in between.

Gypsy, Boberry and Florence did Iron Pax round 2.

YHC took us out in prayer.

Doozy sometime a party of 2 is good, it was great mumble chatter and I appreciate getting to know you better. Make today awesome!

  • Boberry is still riding low

    Boberry is still riding low

A PAX of 4 hit Timberwolf this morning for a beatdown that went something like this…

    Mosey to track for COP.

Mosey back to the flag with just enough time for 5 burpees OYO.

Numbers, names, announcements, prayer requests, YHC took us out.

YHC arrived at Timberwolf to find Boberry’s Bo-mobile still riding close to the pavement after Tuesday’s IPC challenge. Seems he enjoys carrying around the extra 700 or so lbs of cinder block coupons…and may even bring them out of the trunk tomorrow at Twin Team.

Nancy joined us during round 3 of the ascending mile. Seems his dog left him a fun present to deal with this morning. Way to go Nancy for posting even after dealing with a smelly situation.

    Enjoy your day guys! Peace!

  • West End Boys

4 distinguished gentlemen from the the West End made the arduous journey through the woods and crossed the James River this morning to meet the SOJ PAX on their own terms at the grounds of Timberwolf. All they found was YHC…. This is week 0 of the Iron PAX Challenge. Here is how it went down.

Mosey down to the track for

    COP

Don Quixote, Russian Soldiers, Cherry Pickers, Hello Dolly, Rosalita.

    THE THANG

    • 50 Squats
    • 40 WW2s
    • 30 Merkins
    • 20 2 count Ball Dippers
    • 10 Burpees
    • 1 lap around the track
    • x4

Had a little time left, wanted to make sure everyone got the best bang for their buck, so despite some mublechatter we went to the field for

    COP part deaux

    • Bernie Sanders to the 50, 25 LBCs, “sprint” back
    • Bernie Sanders to the 50, 25 LBCs, Bear Crawl back (in case you were wondering, this is Tater’s super power!)

Time was nearly us so then we walked (?!?!) BTTF, numbers, names, announcements, (see below), YHC took us out

    NMM

Great effort today guys, that was very tough! That was the first time YHC has ever been to an “on the books” F3 AO where walking at any point was condoned. Wonder what the next 4 weeks at NO TOLL will be like! Where are the SOJ brothers at? See y’all at Twin Team tomorrow?

Also, henceforth the “Cherry Picker” shall hereby be called the “Collard Picker” as apparently you’re doing it wrong if you pick the cherries up off of the ground.

  • The Breaching Whale

8 stud muffin stallions hit the gloomy grounds of Timberwolf, paused for the garbage truck, then hit the gloom running. According to the lady in her car waiting for us to leave, this is how it went down.

Mosey around the front of the school, with mublechatter along the way. Circle up in bus parking lot. Extended Disclaimer as we were doing an IRON PAX challenge today. Then extended warmerama as such.

    COP

    • SSH
    • Imperial Walkers
    • Russian Soldiers
    • Dead Man Hang
    • Helicopters
    • Cherry Pickers
    • Freddie Mercury
    • Merkins

    Mosey to football field for

THE THANG (Killer B’s) (Wu-Tang Forever)

Line up on the goal line for

    • Broad jump 10 yards
    • 10 burpees
    • 10 Bonnie Blairs (AKA Ball Dippers, AKA Mike Tyson’s)
    • 10 Big Boy Sit Ups (AKA WW2s, AKA WW1s)

Repeat that 3 times, ending at the 30 yard line, then bear crawl back.

Repeat that whole routine 4 times, then mosey BTTF via the “shortcut” (thanks Hermie). Passed by the horseshoe but did not engage.

Numberara, Namerama, announcements (see comment), YHC took us out.

    NMM

Awesome work out there today gents, that routine was no joke! We ended up getting in 120 each of Burpees, Ball Dippers, and WW2s. Thanks for indulging YHC in this Iron PAX practice run. The actual routine was 5 rounds, without breaks, seeing how fast it can be done.

The name of the back blast comes from Tater, who mentioned that the excellent breathing technique exhibited by Hermie during the later rounds of burpees reminded him of a breaching whale.

  • It’s a big dill

The new market rolled into Timberwolf to find 2 eager Pax ready to sweat the gloom. YHC being right on time, away we went. Mosey to the back bus loop for COP.

COP- SSH, DQ’s, IW’s, RS’s, Merkins squats, helicopters, etc.

    The thang:

Modified Lightpole alley: Start with 80 of called exercise and decrease by 10 each pole. Exercises were 80 Squats, 70 LBC’s, 60 MErkins, 50 SSH’s, 40 flutter kicks, 30 Drydocks, 20 Lunges and 20 Dollies, 10 of something. Mosey to tennis courts for 4 corners 2 rounds and close it out with 5 minutes of Mary.

Prayers to many. Thanks for letting me lead.

We began discussion on different AO’s. Tater was filling us in on some of the different AO’s on west end and all the pickle ball courts up there. I replied “It’s kind of a big dill”. After a few moments most PAX realized the pun and then Wilson did, laughter ensued.

  • Mission Impossible…. Or a Duck Walk

3 men originally hailing from 3 differents states in the USA, managed to defeat the fart sack and meet on the grounds of Timberwolf for a hot potato beat down. According the janitorial services personnel, this is how it went down.

    Boberry:

Mosey around in front of school to side parking lot for

    COP

    SSH x 16, DQ x 10, Russian Soldiers x 10, Cherry Pickers x 10, Freddie Mercury x 16, Hello Dolly x 10, Merkins x 16. Toss the Potato:

    Orange Crush

Triple check from the Picnic Tables of Pain. PAX 1 runs long drop off bus loop in front of school. PAX 2 does dips (and merkins as necessary). PAX 3 does WW2s. Mosey to entrance to parking lot for:

Light pole dealer’s choice: alternate between 10 counts of exercises and an uncomfortable way to get between them. Exercices and modes of transportation included lunge walking, wide grip merkins, Carolina Dry Docks (AKA skull crusher push ups), Mission Impossibles (AKA duck walk). Burpees, bear crawl, and sprinting. Toss to Boberry for:

The People’s Donkey Kick: line up on wall, 1 PAX donkey kicks while other PAX does People’s Chair. Ascending with 4-4-4, 8-8-8 etc. Made it to 16 donkey kicks each before we moseyed to the track for 1 Boberry biscuit ending with 5 burpees. Then BTTF.

Numberama, Nameorama, Announcements (below), Prayer requests, YHC took us out.

    NMM

Great to see OC and Tebow in the gloom! Numbers were light today, no New Market again? Prayers were lifted for spouses dealing with health and work issues. It was good to be reminded of the things we have to be thankful for in this life. See you gents next time!

  • It’s not the Horseshoe!

7 SHowed for a Timberwolf beatdown today!

    COP

    SSHs, Copperhead Squats, Helicopters, LBCs

    Mosey to track!

    Lady of the night!

    Round 1 – 20 Squats, 40 Monkey Humpers, 60 Dry Docks, 80 LBCs

    Round 2 – 80 LBCs, 60 Squats, 40 SSHs, 20 WWIIS

    Back to the flag!

Numberama, Namerama, YHC took us out!

Continue prayers for Honeymoons Dad, and Nancys Mom!

    NMS:

Boberry inquired about the Original Horsehoe since he had never experienced it! Today wasn’t the day! For once Wilson’s knowledge of not wanted to go in the woods won the argument! Strong work Men!

    Duke

  • Century club

10 studs arose from their fartsack to take on the gloom. YHC Was excited for today, it was YHC’s 100th post of the year. 100 would be a theme. Time struck 530 and headlights were coming. An FNG was rolling in and late at that. Mosey to front parking lot for COP. FNG was a Boberry add and he came in ready for the gloom. FNG became “Tebow” due to his like of the Gators. He is a pastor, father, husband and has lived in the area his whole life. Welcome Tebow. According to the trash truck driver here is what went down.

COP- SSH’s, DQ’s, Imperial walkers, Helicopters, arm circles, Merkins, LBC’s, and likely a few others. Mosey to the tables of pain. Pax asked why we were not doing 100, YHC did not want to 4 count that high.

On picnic tables do 100 incline merkins, 100 decline merkins, 100 dips and 100 squats. This was much harder than it appeared on paper according to Wilson. Mosey to track. First person to 100 calls it and PAX runs a half lap. Exercises were SSH’s, LBC, Flutters, Dollies, Rosalita’s, Merkins, Jump squats. Mosey to tennis courts for a 2 court sprint. Did total of 6 sprints.

Announcements: Named Dan “Tebow”. Puppy pile upcoming see preblast. YHC took us out in prayer. Always an honor to lead. Always an honor to take part. Make today awesome!

  • What exactly is a three finger bourbon pour?

YHC must thank Marmaduke, Honeymoon & Boberry for their timeliness and starting on time. YHC was merely a passenger on the journey to the AO. Nancy slept in and Herme started driving slower (thanks to chesterfield county holding him accountable). We arrive thinking we were solo, but nope three runners were on the move.

Duke passed the Q back and off we went. No COP today. Went straight into parking lot tracers. Then on to lightpole alley. Dealers choice with no repeats. YHC warned to select wisely. There were audibles and wild cards planned (suicides and laps around tennis courts). I cannot remember all the exercises, but we got in just under three miles.

Nancy almost tossed merlot, but soon found out he enjoyed two “three finger” pours of his favorite bourbon last night. On a Wednesday? I anticipate he is practicing his bartending skills. Herme took us out.
