A fearsome fourteen descended upon Spider Run not expecting the unexpected.
They say, keep your friends close but enemies closer. Same goes for intervals – which YHC despises. Yet they are a necessary evil.
Route: PAX stays together and conducts several climbs up various hills surrounding UR…1 minute up then mosey back down. The PAX climbed more hills this morning than most conventional runners do in a week.

Thanks KB. That was me being passive aggressive since it was Splinter’s fault we did intervals today.
That’s what Saab does best… passive aggressiveness.
This was a true treat this morning. Here, after all these years, I assumed Saab despised intervals when in reality it’s one of his favorite pastimes.
I wish I could take the blame for the intervals this AM. Bodos asked during the run if I had taken on Saab as a mentee to which I replied, “I don’t think Saab would take well to a mentor.”
A job well done Saab.
