YHC arrived to Swansboro Park to find another traveler, his 2.0 and 3 Carterico Natives ready for a beatdown. YHC is thankful for the hospitality Carterico has shown over the last week and I enjoyed the work put in. After no warm up. We ran, stopping occasionally to do Merkins, WWI’s, Flutters, Back scratchers, Dollies, Box cutters, Plank jacks, Etc. Then we ran BTTF.

I picked the wrong group
YHC posted for this beautiful morning with the men of Carterico. I pulled up to parking lot as the clock struck 5:30. The PAX split into 2 groups and I just followed the one closest to me. This was the running group. Logged 3.6 miles stopping to do various exercises every 5-10 minutes.

Runday
Posted for a run day with men of Carterico. No warm up straight to run. Was doing my long pre 10K run so targeted 5 miles. Did not make it back for COT.

YHC posted at Boonedocks with the men of Carterico. Normal warmarama. Workout was: Run .3 miles 9 Burpees, 20 Hand release merkins, 22 Flutter kicks repeato 4 times. Parking lot bear crawls with drydocks mixed in. Finished out with Mary.

90% Respect
Posted at Swansboro, NC municipal park for a Skid Mark beatdown. Came in hot due to not finding my gloves. Met a great group of mostly respect gentleman (6 respect 1 dbl respect and 1 fortysomething) It was a me and Wilson type of group.
Workout consisted of running from parking lot to parking lot performing various exercises. Exercises consisted of Merkins, WWI’s, Monkey humpers, Balls to the wall, donkey kicks, LBC’s, Squats, etc.
COT at the end and Skid mark took us out in prayer.

Don’t be a hero part 2
9 Strong ended the week right on the Hill. YHC was last to arrive but first to jump into motion.
COP- 20 each SSH, LBC; 10 Each DQ’s, Jazzercise, Helicopters, Imperial Walkers, Tic/Toc’s, Coper head squat, Dead man hang, Merkins, Flutters, Dollies.
Cul-De-Sac tour. Up Otterdale hill to other entrance to start at that side and work way back to flag. Run to sac do 20 of called exercises then 20 back at the start. Move on to next sac. Exercises were: Merkins, Squats, WWII’s, Flutter, Dollies. Double back on Willomore to the corner of fartis-sacious (a mythical creature in the hood). Run a few sprints. Down to the trails for some log presses. BTTF and time was called.

Where are you?
YHC went to post with the Men of Cartaret County for a Saturday beatdown. Left the house with some time to spare. 5 minutes in realized failed to bring my phone. Thought I could locate AO off memory only to realize much to late I could not. In the parking lot I did find I did COP, 2 Jacobs ladders with Merkins/WWII’s then Drydocks/box cutters with about 100 yd run on both. Ended with a mosey with various exercises mixed in.

7 strong and 2 runners posted for the latest installment of SOT: Spring Break edition. According to the bus driver here is what went down.
COP- 20 each SSH, LBC; 10 Each DQ’s, Jazzercise, Helicopters, Imperial Walkers, Tic/Toc’s, Coper head squat, Dead man hang, Merkins, Flutters, Dollies.
The Jim Morrison was called or a variation of. First 5 doors do 10 each: Squats, Merkins, WWII’s. Next 5 doors 10 each Monkey Humpers, Drydocks, Flutters, Next 5: Lunges, plank jacks, box cutters, Next 10 Russian soldiers, HR Merkins, Dollies. Repeato the first set. We made 30 doors. With several sets of 20 thrown in because the PAX asked nicely.

Not what you expected
YHC found 10 other gloom challengers waiting in ready position. This being April 1st YHC was full of challenges. After COP YHC called for a run to Genito which was met with groans. Luckily this was just April fools. YHC had also conspired with Hermie to move Roscos car during workout but he fartsacked. My personal favorite as getting to AO early enough to get Jinxy to ask for Rosco’s 2.0’s hand in marriage, but that did not workout, so on to the workout.

Run to the villages. We appeared to be going to Genito but YHC made a hard right at the last second. Run the villiages stopping at each side street to perform PAX called exercises building in increments of 10. Started with 10 Merkins and included but not limited to: Drydocks, monkey humpers, Squats, LBC’s, etc. On the hill we did a 3X’s repeato with a Bernie down exercise and run back up. Made it to 100 then started reverso back down to 60 before we reached the flag. A lightning round of Mary finished us off.

3 doors down in the rain
YHC may have been hoping for an empty parking lot this morning so he could go home and Peleton in the warmth of his basement. The night prior when YHC saw the forecast of rain he checked the Q sheet to see if he would want to partake. Obviously forgetting he was Q! According to the bus driver here is what went down.
COP- extended with extra exercises under the awning.
Triple Triple! 3 triple checks runs were on 1st to door 1, 2nd to door 2, 3rd to door 3. Various exercises performed by the other 2 including MErkins, LBC’s, squats, Lunges, etc.
Mosey one more lap to door 3 then BTTF as the rain stopped.
YHC took us out in prayer.
