  • Carry Each Other’s Burdens

    9 Brothers throat punched satan at the hill this morning by carrying each other’s burdens. Theme of the day was this Bible verse :

    THE THANG :
    YHC grabs a rock then set out on an indigenous run throughout the hood stopping at various intersections to perform PT. The PAX in front is always carrying the rock during the run until the PAX in back takes it. Repeato until time expires.

  • Don’t be a hero part 2

    9 Strong ended the week right on the Hill. YHC was last to arrive but first to jump into motion.

    COP- 20 each SSH, LBC; 10 Each DQ’s, Jazzercise, Helicopters, Imperial Walkers, Tic/Toc’s, Coper head squat, Dead man hang, Merkins, Flutters, Dollies.  

    Cul-De-Sac tour. Up Otterdale hill to other entrance to start at that side and work way back to flag. Run to sac do 20 of called exercises then 20 back at the start. Move on to next sac. Exercises were: Merkins, Squats, WWII’s, Flutter, Dollies. Double back on Willomore to the corner of fartis-sacious (a mythical creature in the hood). Run a few sprints. Down to the trails for some log presses. BTTF and time was called.

  • Not what you expected

    YHC found 10 other gloom challengers waiting in ready position. This being April 1st YHC was full of challenges. After COP YHC called for a run to Genito which was met with groans. Luckily this was just April fools. YHC had also conspired with Hermie to move Roscos car during workout but he fartsacked. My personal favorite as getting to AO early enough to get Jinxy to ask for Rosco’s 2.0’s hand in marriage, but that did not workout, so on to the workout.

    COP- 20 each SSH, LBC; 10 Each DQ’s, Jazzercise, Helicopters, Imperial Walkers, Tic/Toc’s, Coper head squat, Dead man hang, Merkins, Flutters, Dollies.  

    Run to the villages. We appeared to be going to Genito but YHC made a hard right at the last second. Run the villiages stopping at each side street to perform PAX called exercises building in increments of 10. Started with 10 Merkins and included but not limited to: Drydocks, monkey humpers, Squats, LBC’s, etc. On the hill we did a 3X’s repeato with a Bernie down exercise and run back up. Made it to 100 then started reverso back down to 60 before we reached the flag. A lightning round of Mary finished us off.

    Being a temporary resident in Midlothian until May 7th, YHC felt like it was time to lead and Satan’s Hill gave a good opportunity to give a beatdown. YHC mentioned one disclaimer and that was if you had a different suggestion to an exercise please kindly raise your hand and I would take it into consideration… YHC didn’t take any suggestions. Good work by everyone and way to push through! Thankful for you guys, make it a great day!

  • Who moved our rocks?

    10 men showed up to get swole and 4 to run. New Market is officially getting ready for pool season.

    We moseyed through the neighborhood and stopped for merkin variations, threw around various tokens (rocks, logs, concrete, etc), and did a few ab workouts here and there.

    We showed back up to home base and found our tokens organized in the shape a large d*$&. Rosco’s immediate reaction was ” I thought we were all adults here?” I blame Rosetta and Tobit.
