    Mosey to the bottom of the hill

    Love Hill at Satan’s Hill – Had to modified a little since we had just three of us. Complete 5 Broad Jump Burpees, 10 ct Bear Crawl, and 10ct Lunges then run today follow by running back to the spot we finished our round of excerises. Rinse and Repeat till we reached the top

    Mosey to the coupon pile

    Dora – 50 Sit up + Press, 100 Goblet Squats, 150 Overhead Press while one PAX coupon lunges 10 step out and 10 back

    Triple Check – Flutter Kicks, American Hammer, run a lap around the parking median

    Numberrama, Namerama, Announcements, YHC took us out

    MOLESKIN

    YHC answered the call to take the longest travel this morning for takeover today. Arrived about 15 mins early to look over the AO (It had been over a year and half since the last trip to New Market). At 5:25 YHC was still the lone wolf and wondering if the New Market crew decided to take a vaca today. Luckily at 5:27, Heist made his way down the hill shortly after Mamaduke made his way down.

    Great mumble chatter this morning catching up with Duke and meeting Heist. TClaps go out to Mamaduke for posting 4 days in a row after his vaca last week

    Looking forward to the next Daville Takeover Day in Aug on Monday the 8th

    7 Beasts showed up to a Monday workout but Duke said we were flexing today!

    Mosey to coupons and carry to top of lot.

    25 Curls, 10 Presses, 10 Tri Extensions, 15 Squats, run hill and back

    50 Bench Presses, 25 Pulls, 10 WWIIs, 60 Second extension hold, run bottom of hill and back

    Repeat!

    Ring of fire, Runner calls exercise while they run and do 10 Jerkins.

  • What’s New in New Market!

    6 men started and 5 men finished. McGruff let the coupons get the best of him. Prayers to him and hope he is well/gets better soon. YHC had grabbed the Q the night prior and planned an all inclusive Hot Potato. According to the Frogs here is what went down. (Frog count 139 in NM pool).

    COP- 20 each SSH, LBC; 10 Each DQ’s, Jazzercise, Helicopters, Imperial Walkers, Tic/Toc’s, Coper head squat, Dead man hang, Merkins, Flutters, Dollies.  

    The thang:

    YHC: Starting at rock pile run trails the the 2 cul-de-sacs and perform 20 each: Merkins, LBC’s and squats then repeato back at rock pile.

    McGruff: Triple check with coupons. Curls, Triceps and runner to bars for 10 jerkins.

    Boberry: 11’s Log lifts and WWII’s

    Body Karate: Body builders along with other misc exercises

    Rosetta Run to pull up bar and do 6-10 pull ups while partner does squats.

    Announcements: HDHH coming to SOJ. See slack.

    Prayer Requests: Prayers to McGruff, may he heal quickly.

  • 2 for the money

    YHC pulled down Satan’s Hill to find an empty parking lot. With minutes to spare Rosco kept this from being a solo workout. According to the bullfrogs here is what went down.

    Hot Potato. YHC started us off with the standard warm up.

    YHC still at the helm. Run down Sultree all the way to the back of the hood stopping at every other mailbox on the right to perform a rotation of 20 Merkins, 20 LBC’s, 20 squats. 20 minutes in and throw it Rosco. Run back by way of Willomore stopping at intersections for 10 Merkins, 15 WWII’s and 20 squats. Mix in some sprints as well. To the coupon pile for Sets of curls and overhead presses. Run up the hill return for 1 more set of coupon work. Time was called.

    YHC took us out in prayer. Rosco I appreciate the push today and keeping it from being a solo affair.

    3 Dudes Plus 1 Pup hit the streets of New Market this morning for 3.5 miles!

  • A Bunch of Dangerfields

    6 HIMs, four of which will now be known as Dangerfields (Respect HIMs) to YHC, braved a cool, crisp, low humidity morning to attack the day! The mumble chatter was strong this morning spanning from classic Top Gun to VCRs and Eight tracks. It was a day that revolved around…back in my day. Many of the HIMs recount running up Satan’s Hill, in a Snow Storm with no shoes on during their first Q. Oh the memories. Anyways, according to the frog that camouflaged himself in the parking lot, here’s what went down.

    Warmerama – Hill Run, SSH, DQ, Arm Circles, Imp Walkers, Merkins, LBC, Flutter Kick, Freddie Merc, Scorpion Kicks.

    The Thang – SLOOOWWW 11’s. Start at the base of the hill, and in standard 11s fashion, start with 1 at the bottom, 10 at the top. 2/9, 3/8, yada yada, you can see the pattern. Bottom of the hill were Hand release Merkins, Top WW2. However, we progress up the hill in different fashion each time, plank for the six at the bottom. Progression up the hill went as follows – bear crawl, crab walk, lunge, bernie, karaoke L, karaoke R, repeato minus karaoke R on the last rep. Final progression was a broad jump.

    Mosey to the Rock pile for a triple check. Which unfortunately we had to discount to a double check due to time. Runner to the NM entrance, P1 does a curl to overhead press compound, P2 does a WW2 to FM compound. Time…

    COT – Discussed slack, new channels, #leadership channel, 50+ BRR. Thanked the fellas for coming out as YHC has been inconsistent and trying to find new ways to get back into Rhythm. Looked to Q sheet to help motivate. Prayed that we all have the vision to see the path that is being laid for us daily.

  • Last Day of Spring

    Spring was in the air at Satan’s Hill as YHC arrived. Oyster was getting some extra credit jogging around the AO. The rest of the PAX was ready to wait until 5:30. As the clock struck away we went. According to the frogs here is what went down.

    COP: 20 each SSH, LBC’s, 10 each: DQ’s, Jazzercise, Helicopters, Imperial Walkers, Ukrainian Soldiers, Merkins, Thigh masters, Flutters.

    The thang: Triple/Triple. Grab a coupon. 1st tripple: Runner, Curls, Overhead press, 2nd: Chest press, LBC’s, runner. 3rd Runner, Triceps, rock copters. A few coupon holds, lunges and stretches to round out our time.

    YHC took us out in prayer. SYITG!

  • SOJ Takeover-Parking Wars

    9 PAX braved Satan’s Hill Monday morning. YHC started off on the wrong foot, by taking Roscoe’s normal parking spot.

    Warmup:

    -SSH X 25 IC(In Cadence)
    -5 Burpees OYO
    -Don Quijote’s X 10 IC
    -4 Burpees OYO
    -Imperial Walkers X 10 IC
    -3 Burpees OYO
    -Toy Soldiers X 10 IC
    -2 Burpees OYO
    -Arm circles forward/backward X 10 IC
    -1 Burpee OYO

    -Mosey up Satan’s Hill to the running path for log work. Partner up, 10 presses with log, 10 rows with log, waiting partner does squats, then switches are PAX doing reps finishes. 3 rounds.

    COP #1:

    Each Pax had a coupon and completed the following reps:

    -Curls X 25 SC(single count)
    -Shoulder press X 25 SC
    -Reverse lunges X 20 SC
    Run to end of parking lot and back. Repeat round with reps of 20, 15, 15
    -Flutter Kicks X 25 IC
    -LBC’s X 50 OYO
