Seven men jumped from the sack to attack the weekend! NM PAX worked extremely hard this week leaving NOTHING in the tank. GREAT job men!
After a short COP, we moseyed over to the Villages where YHC puled a card from Marmaduke’s deck of pain. Manhole suicides. We did six rounds with each round doing 10, 20, 30 & 40 of called out exercise. Looked good on paper!
Two 2.0’s entered the gloom and KILLED it. Welcome to Chuck (Cam Branch) who is a BIG NY Giants fan, but also loves basketball and his favorite player is Sequan Barkley, which then brought up Charles Barkley……….hence Chuck. At least he did’nt get Riggins! Welcome young man! Found the attached video and it is soooo great to watch sports again, even if its the Giants! Go BILLS!

5 Beasts were ready to rock this morning at 530 at the New Market Clubhouse. Skies were clear to start but 10 mins in they opened up with rain!

Six warriors rose to meet the challenge of the day which was a Nancy Q. Rain was in the forecast but no rain was found on this sunny and 72 degree morning. YHC had looked for a new routine and found the Billy Madison so away we went.
COP 21’s did not end in unison 1st time (YHC’s fault) so 20 merkins and try again. Second time the PAX nailed it. 10 DQ’s, 10 Jazzercise (you gotta get that trail leg up and move it ladies), 10 IW’s, 10 Hillbillies’s (Hermie really enjoyed these), 10 Merkins, 10 flutters, 20 LBC’s. Attempted to do 10 Clam diggers (side plank open legs) but PAX was too confused or maybe YHC’s direction was too confusing.
Billy Madison. Billy completed 12 grades so we would do 12 exercises called by Q Run lap around parking lot, repeato 1st and add a 2nd. Continue that progress for all 12 grades. That took us to within 2 minutes. A Quick 50 merkins and a stretches to the flag.
Prayers to my great aunt Jean who passed yesterday (93 years young), Prayers to neighbor Greg’s dad (Bypass surgery). YHC took us out. Always honored to lead.
6 posted this morning. After two days of mostly running, lower body and abs, I decided New Market needed some upper body work.
COP: SSH, DQ, Imperial Walkers, Cherry Pickers, Merkins
Go grab two rocks (one big, one small). Start with 10 curls (starting with big, switch if needed) run across parking lot and do 10 jerkins, run back and do 10 more curls. Do 10 curls every time and decrease jerkins by 1 until done.
One side of parking lot 10 merkins, run across for 9 burpees, back for 8 merkins, across for 7 burpees, etc.
Back to the rocks for rounds of arm circles, curls, overhead press, merkins, arm circles, Carolina dry docks, arm circles, rock swings, and more arm circles.
Well done guys! I hope everybody’s arms are as sore as mine right now.

Quarantine……well it sucks. Styx was over it and decided she wanted to beat up on the NM PAX for 45 minutes. So on the Q sheet….Styx was to wake up early on Monday.
Here is how it went down….Stretching, laps, then GASSERS…………if you were there you know and if not, be thankful the Fartsack held you in. They were brutal and overall a solid workout!
In all seriousness it is always great to see you kids grow up, take charge and lead. In this case a group of old men (except POG – his birth cert has been requested). I could not be more proud of her!

5 gloom warriors and 2 2.0 warriors showed up to take on the morning and start right with a great workout.
COP- YHC was again fighting the fartsack and arrived during the mosey. COP SSHx40, DQ’s x10, Cherry pickers x10, IW’sx10, Russian soldiers x10, Jazzercise x10, Arm circles x15 and reverso. Mosey up the hill along Otterdale to main entrance.
YHC called excercise PAX would run to the cul-de-sac and complete 20 reps and repeat at starting spot.
Exercises were: Merkins, Squats, IW’s, Mountain climbers, Carolina dry docks, flutter kicks, Dollies, Rosalita’s. 8 sacs altogether and 2.7 miles. Run back to flag mixing in some Bernie sanders and karaoke.
YHC took us out. Thanks for opportunity to lead. Make today awesome!
Warm up as normal as it looked to be a slow easy morning as all PAX seemed a little tired and beat from the week. Little did I know or them that we had a little beat down in store for us! Traveled the New Market unknown rock walking trail to both ends doing little work at each end. Once I realized this little trail reminded me of the horseshoe we knew it had to happen!
The thing:
Horseshoe back and forth on the long path 4 total times
1st – 10 merkins and 1 burpee on other end
2nd – 15 WWII and 2 burpee on other end
3rd – 20 Squats and 3 burpee on other end
Ending with 4 brupees.
To wrap up the remaining time we explored the neighborhood and hit almost every man hole along with burpees at any yard with sprinkler system on.

Paula Abdul’s- Two steps forward one step back using mailboxes. 10 mailboxes total, at each mailbox do 10 squats. Wait for six at the last mailbox.
Run back down to the clubhouse, for rounds of donkey kicks (a POG favorite).
Finished with a round of Mary, Wallsits, Howling Monkeys.
