Runners did the Rutland/Cool Spring Forster Trail Loop to get in 3.5 miles

All made it back with some time to spear and YHC took the moment to share some sad news he received yesterday morning

A prominent member of our Atlee community and former elder of YHC’s church unexpectedly went to be with the Lord Tuesday afternoon. Johnny who was EHed by The Carpenter and YHC a few times in the early years of DaVille was only 43 leaving behind his wife and two children

Losing someone close like this and so young has remained my our short our time on this world is so short and to not take it for grant. Each day we have with our family, friends, and our F3 brother is a gift. This loss was remainder of our precious that gift is.

  • We Should EH That Runner

3 Davillian Runners and 1 easy EHed runner, enjoyed fall like morning for another Davillian run day.

Route – Revise traditional route with running the Cool Spring West loop (on the road), Knollwood, and returning via the Rutland loop for 4+ miles (depending on your GPS)

What started as 3 runners became 4 about after the first 1.25 miles when the PAX was heading to the Knollwood loop with a head lamp heading to us which drawled the question “We should EH that guy!”. Turns out that was easy since it was Phonics who was a LIFO and started his run the traditional way.

ANNOUNCEMENTS – Good Luck to those in the Pickleball Tourney this Saturday. Go Team Daville (Corned Beef/Bulkhead)

  • Old People Talk

3 runners and 2 ruckers explored the less swampy than usual twilight from the Rutland Clubhouse. Runners continued YHC’s exploration of the roads across Chamberlayne after discovering a cut through. This route seemed a bit easier to follow and had no off-leash dogs, making it a clear winner. Runners covered about 4.25 miles. Ruckers did not say how far they rucked. All of the old folks were too busy talking about cleaning out internal plumbing and dispensing medical advice. Announcements included the CSAUP running at Twin Team Saturday, the pickleball tournament, and the century bike ride. In addition, there is a second F this Monday at 6:00 at Dot’s Back Inn. The good Dr. Beef took us out. It was great spending some time with all of you respectable men this morning.

  • Lonely Rutland Ruck

YHC posted at 5am this morning and was able to get in over 4.2 miles. It was a great time to reflect and appreciate cool weather returning from San Antonio, TX where the high temperatures were over 100 all week.

Have a great day and I will see you in the gloom, Cheers…CB!

On the day ESPN The Ocho started, 8 runners came out to Rutland CH for Thursday Runday

Great to have large numbers again for a run and some of our newest PAX members out twice this week

    SPIT ON THAT!!

  • New Route, Same Humidity

YHC and 3 respected Pax members ran or rucked for about 4.5 miles through a soupy Mechanicsville morning. The runners ran across 301 and explored a couple new neighborhoods. They were nice, minus one off-leash dog. Opus took us out with prayers for a student at his school with cancer.
