Prayin with Mrs. Lulu
6 warriors greeted the day to get out and get after it in the BWES parking lot. YHC had plans to lead the PAX on a slow mosey to the new apartment to do a couple dips in the little workout room we have but after considering the mosey at 1.5 miles one way, YHC audibled to a more traditional lounge style workout with some good stretches. No burpees and no cadence where had.
NMS:
After coffee YHC wanted to pray over my new friend at the school, Mrs. Lulu. Mrs Lulu is a fantastic example of strength and courage under enormous life BS. She is working two jobs and has blood cancer but as YHC and Last Call stood there talking to her she had more joy and excitement about what’s next for her in life. She is stronger and better than I…..

Some put the “foot” in Football
6 HIMs showed up on a beautiful dark Thursday morning to play Ultimate Football. Some slept in…(Couch)….Lights lit up the arena and the game was commenced with what we thought was honor and respect for the catching abilities some possess.
Teams were selected:
Team 1 = Crabby, Festivus, & Cookie
Team 2 = Fandango, Hei-Hei- & Flyboy.
Team 1 and Team 2 exchanged early blows in TDs to be tied 2-2 … BUT THEN… Team 2 exploded and scored multiple times with rigorous combinations that Team 1 didn’t know what hit them to put Team 1 up 5-2… Team 2 had the playing ability edge here with their fast feet and hands… Team 1, not so much hands. So, going through the rules, Team 1 looked at their deceptive hands a knew that they couldn’t win with these sloppy, clumsy, useless hands… they opted to using the kicking rule for 2 TDs worth and succeeded in their first attempt with Crabby kicking it through the uprights. 5-4 now. Team 2 struck back with a kick of their own to show HOW EASY it was and Team 1 tried again but Crabby couldn’t find the magic anymore. 7-4 now. Team 1 kicked again, missing,… kicked again, making it and then added on a solo TD to tie the game 7 -7 with time just barely on the clock. Team 2 played the game RIGHT… THEY PLAYED THE GAME RIGHT! But Team 1 NEEDED to kick again and ended up going over the time and it ended in a TIE. Officially a TIE. 7-7
Had the kick rule not been implemented… Had “baby P.I.” not been called on Hei-Hei… Had Festivus not sunk so low as to bloody Hei -Hei in the lip to slow him down… Had all these factors not have happened… Team 1 was the real losers today with the score truly being 5 -3… Team 2 won the game… the pure game of Ultimate Football…
However, because Team 1 couldn’t play ball like men, they were gifted points from kicks and the score was 9 -7 off a Festivus kick (Yawn).
Highlights:
Team 1 kicks because they can’t f***ing play with their hands….
Team 2 was masterful: Hei-Hei laying out for passes, Fandango being a pornstar hitting chests with his balls, and Flyboy using his burst of 5 second speed to run past the snoring Team 1 to score some amazing catches.
COT – Stuff this Friday with F3 and wings and pool, Rucking 9.11, and we prayed for us having a beautiful day.

Hugenot’s Homicidal Hares
The forgecast called for cinders, homicidal hares, and a qtip on extreme ownership. Warmup: Loop around the parking lot, SSH, Good mornings, Michael Phelps, Merkins, Wilsons Wife, Fuds Wife, Salt Lickers, and some LBCs. Then we partnered up and after a quick block chain indian run down the hill used our cinders to homicidal hare it up the hill with one PAX doing the murder bunnies and the other PAX dong three burpees. Once at the top of the hill, we repeated the strategy only with a bear crawl block drag and flutters x 10. Finally, we did a round of punishing Doras with 50 manmakers, 100 swings, and 150 durkins. Timer got 3 donkey kicks. Then back to the flag for a round of Marys. Qtip: Extreme ownership is an effective leadership strategy for taking ownership of your team, checking your ego, and helping with effective accountability across the team. Welcome FNGs Spud and Super X

Where did you store that thermos????
6 PAX met at the Twin Team Lounge a this past Friday. Were lounge rules upheld properly? Was there a mutiny? YHC had the Q, and Lounge Charter member and drafter of the by-laws Last Call was not there. Given that, all bets were off.
Started with a mosey to the reccently re-paved lower level parking lot for COP Warmerama with cadence done by YHC but mostly not by the PAX.
Then a trip past the track to the endzone of “The Swamp, at The Lounge, at Twin Team”. Call of the day was a choose your own adventure Lounge-y Beast. Each PAX choose an exercise including Merkins, Squats, Monkey Humpers, and “Lunge for a bit, then run for a bit”.
Filled time after that with some long 11s which tempted a mutiny, but it was not enacted.
Shoutout to Doozy for bringing the coffee and accouterments.
Thanks for letting me lead, have a good one!

Dress Socks
Who needs to change socks in the morning? Not Rosetta. Draper led us on a speed work adventure to the Trojan Track with laps of varying paces, distances, and rest. It was a tough one in the humidity but everyone got their work in with some good pace targeting.
Rare BB for MOT but if we’re going to work that hard we should get credit for it somewhere.
Prayers for Speakeasy – check out Corned Beef’s post for MealTrain and/or donations.

Hard Men Do Hard Things
(Now 8?) HIM’s accepted the challenge to get under the log for an hour ruck through the hills of Larus Park. An additional 30# KB was brought to share around. It was great to have our Site Q SABLE back from his Euro/Afro travels and also a delight to welcome House Party back to the gloom after a knee-resting hiatus. Just under 3 miles completed with regular stops to switch coupons and get in some deep squats. The coupons were also momentarily set down for a jog to the bottom of Love Hill and Bernie back up. Solid burn for the legs and shoulders today. Thx for letting me lead brothers. Yours AYE! ~Dr Tryhard
