The heat and humidity were no joke as four of us gathered for a Wednesday morning beatdown. Three regulars were joined by a guest visiting from Charlotte. We went to the lake, cranking out loops with breaks for some upper-body and core work: 20 Derkins, 20 Dips, and 20 Heels to Heaven. Our Charlotte guest, not typically a runner, pushed hard and felt the burn but finished strong, winded yet satisfied with the effort. In total, we knocked out a solid 3.8 miles. Great work, fellas! Sorry for the delay on the backblast. SYITG

6 faithful gathered this cool morning and got our steps in today. Living up to the running boot camp we covered 3.73 miles today. We ran to our popular neighborhood and hit the Cul-De-Sacs. First few we did 15 Merkins and 15 LBCs, at each Cul-De-Sac, then headed back to the flag we arrived with 3 minutes left so we added one more set.. 165 merkins, 165 LBCs completed with @4 miles run. A good day to workout! Reminders of 10 year anniversary coming up check slack for all the details, closed in prayer and off to start the day!

EF Hutton got his Summer Tour point today and got to enjoy the aroma of Short Pump dog park. He came from Broga, so his odor might have nothing to do with the fine aged urine we ran by this morning. We ran 3.35 miles total today, did 11’s of Derkins and Dips and one round of running the bases with the home plater timer doing 10 burpees and exercises at each base of WW2, Squats and Flutters. The backblast title is the text I got from Hutton during his drive home. Labor Day convergence at Nuckols Farm Elementary at…

The cars kept rolling in at WaThoHuk despite the locals’ insistence that there are only a few regulars. Discussion pre-workout centered on the typical WTH routes and also furnished the BB title, stated by a PAX not to be named but is older than YHC. Hint, all but Hops are older than me. After ensuring Pigskin that he would not need a head start or directions we headed off into the gloom. Around the bus loop and to the track behind the school. No warm up (this is a run) let’s dive right into the Mega Beast. Run the track…

On the way to the AO, YHC expected to be running solo due to other regulars traveling and participating in the Westhoe takeover. However, he was pleasantly surprised to find two other cars in the parking lot. Two out of the three of us were recovering from injuries, so we decided to head to the Duck Pond. We ran loops around it, breaking after each loop for 20 Dips, 15 Derkins, and 25 Freddies. Blue Moon is recovering quite nicely, and YHC found it challenging at times to keep up with him. Overall, we covered 3.8 miles. SYITG!

Five of Short Pumps finest found the Wellesley Tunnel and the secret tennis courts to do some exercises up and down the “H”. During the search we did some warmups in the lot next to the lake: Ukrainian soldiers, DQ, Helicopters, arm circles, lbc and merkins. When we got to the courts we started with 5 burpees at the middle of the “H” and then 25 WWII at every end of the “H” (100 total) with another 5 burpees every time you crossed the middle. All OYO. Some crossed the middle every time and did 20 burpees and some did…

four gathered on this hot and humid morning to shed some water weight and gain some muscle. The scheduled Q unfortunately suffered a back injury and hopefully won’t be out too long. YTH took the reins and here’s what went down. Mosey to COT 15 SSH, 10 Don qs, 10 Ukrainian solders, 10 merkins, 25 LBC, mosey to Wells Fargo branch. Partner for triple check: merkins, WW2s, jump squats, mosey to upper end of shopping center for non cumulative 4 corners with 15 WW2, 15 two count mountain climbers, 25 two count American hammers, 25 plank jacks. Mosey east to…

Five dedicated PAX showed up bright and early at 5:30 AM, finding nothing better to do than to tackle a run. Among us were four regulars and a special guest from Houston. Our visitor shared that 80 degrees with high humidity is typical Houston weather from April to October. Despite his assurance that we had nothing to complain about, we did anyway. We kicked off our run towards Duck Lake. After a warm-up, we looped around the lake, stopping for 20 Dips, 15 Derkins, and 20 two-count Flutters at each loop. We managed to complete four loops before time ran…

6 pax of WTH met at sunrise beside the lake to get Stoned. There was for sure some huffing and absolutely some puffing as we got burned out by the Stones. We have work to do: Let’s move! Depart Pocahontas middle school at 0530 with a right on Three Chopt. Left onto the path over to Lake Wellesley. Cross over the 1st Bridge and circle up for quick COP of SSH Ukrainian Soliders. The Thang: Getting Stoned We gather up some nice sized Rip Rap lifting rocks from the lake side. Each pax to perform the below exercises in rotation…
