Browsing: Broga

Three hombres traveled from vast lands and arrived early for the calm before the storm. Concentrated areas consisted of shoulders, hips, hamstrings and back. Doublemint is becoming a pigeon fan while House Party seemed to enjoy all aspects. Great company. Speedy recovery for Doublemint.

A pair of a pair woke early to discover the overnight dampness that had descended upon Tuckahoe. Conditions were not conducive for our normal location so we ventured off campus to the echoed coverings of River Road Baptist. Upchuck duly noted the operational sprinklers on the journey. Broga commenced with particular attention to shoulders, hips and hamstrings. Towels did not provide the required protection for Hutton and groans were a bit louder than normal but Shavasana and Pigeon always come thru as crowd pleasers before the ensuing beatdown by Upchuck. Well done fellas.

That was Handshake’s text to YHC this morning before the departure from the fartsack on this humid, 75 degree morning. We were joined by two more Broga enthusiasts(?) for YHC’s Broga VQ. Also, it was Handshake’s first Broga post, which I’m sure won’t be his last(?) We worked most of the body, but for some reason, YHC focused on the groin area more than any other area. Shavasna was nice at the end until the sound of car’s mufflers entering the parking lot disturbed the mood. Well done, all! Thanks for letting me lead. Kubota

Six Borgii veterans arrived early and dressed in their flexible finest. Emphasis today was on the back, hips and shoulders. Good times had by all. Oyster showed his creativity by utilizing seat covers for his broga mat.

A quartet of limber fellows arrived in the early morning hours looking to work out the muscle kinks and aches. Targeted areas included hamstrings, hips, back, quads, some shoulders and neck. The stretchy bands were not a favorite for some of the PAX, while others will be on the hunt for thicker mats to improve comfort. Good times were had by all. Namaste fellas.

A trio of Brogii veterans persevered thru the storms for the pre No Toll Broga session on the hard courts of Huguenot Park. Legs, hips, shoulders and a little back were the focus areas this morning followed by the always popular shavasana. Good to have Shiplap back from vacation and into the final stretch of his upcoming 2.0 arrival. Good luck boys and always fun to stretch it out.

A Broga Duo returned to the hard courts of No Toll for some limbering up after last weeks travels. Legs were the focus of the day with some back and shoulder work mixed in. Weather was perfect with minimal groans. Good times were had by all.

2 First Watch regulars arrived early to put in the extra work before the beatdown. Hamstrings, back, shoulders and quads muscles were all expanded to full capacity followed by some much enjoyed Shavasana was interrupted by Splinter arriving blinded the PAX. Later it was revealed that Kubotas’ hamstring was a bit rusty and could use some additional work. Deshaun Watson can provide some recommendations. Great work this morning.

Four regular brogii veterans descended upon the playing courts of No Toll to get the early morning creaks and pops out. A few moans and groans were audible throughout the workout as the PAX was hitting all the right spots. Extra long shavasana with a cool breeze seemed the perfect conclusion to mellow the morning. Good times gents. Shiplap has the Q next week.

A four pack of Brogi regulars escaped the clutches of the long weekend fartsack for some pre Doozy beatdown Broga. No advanced notification was given but these fine studs were ready and waiting for the 5 am call. Today we worked hips, shoulders, back and legs. Great morning to release some of the holiday stress and enjoy comfortable temps. See you boys same time next week.
