May 21st 2016 marked YHC first ever F3 Post and in this very rainy Wednesday morning we celebrate KB Style 3 Davillians arrived at WHES main parking lot when YHC called an audible to park in the bus loop to be closer to the drop off canopies. Despite rainy conditions, 3 HIMs weren’t afraid of melting and showed up to The Green Mile. With multiple spots with overhangs, the PAX stayed fairly dry through the Hot Potato workout. According to Dumar’s dreams (no sign of life/lights at the home front according to Hermey when arrived to pick him up) this is how it went down: Futon Q – Warm up with mosey to the covered area on the side of the school. Deadman hang, helicopters, SSH, Ukranian Soldiers, Merkins, Knee to Chest, Roscoe’s Mom. COP 1: P1 holds balls to the wall, P2 holds wall sit, P3…
4 brave HIMs came out to play in the rain this morning. Had we known there was vandalism running amuck in Pountrey, we may have hit the streets earlier! According to Rudy’s Ring camera, here’s what took place… Went down Bellstone Ct to check in on some of our compadres, but lights were off. Loop down to the reservoir and back up past McGruffs to the burnt down gas station and through the rolling hills. Good pace today, rain held off for the most part, and we’re better men for being out there! Lots of good chatter. Fandango wanted to…
12 HIMs emerged from the gloom for a glorious OTB beatdown! I’m kidding, just YHC here showed up and boy was it a wet one this morning! Soaked from head to toe as I got in a couple miles of running with the F3 card deck in hand, stopping at every sign or post to draw an exercise. Today I learned there’s a Queen of Burpees and the deck just kept giving me every possible merkin exercise known to the F3 Nation! If you’re not burning em, you’re not earning em. -Beaver
Three of the F3RVA pax made it out for this morning’s edition of RH. At 4:58am YHC was considering his options had 2 of his fellow ruckers not made an appearance. Thanks for the company! Given the conditions we headed into Larus where we were afforded some cover from the elements as we traversed red, green then blue and back to red trails. Till the next one.
A wonderful group of 5 FW regulars decided to test the conditions this morning. Just a mere sprinkle. In search of cover we mosey over to the church for dry introductions and disclaimers all in conversation. These included dead man hang, SSH’s, Jazzercise and some other items. 7 of Clubs was that call for the day. At each of the 3 covered areas perform multiple of 7 exercises (up to 28) while running inbetween. Exercises included HR Merkins (7), WWII’s (14), Squats (21), Lunges (i think was 28), LBC’s (21), Shoulder Taps(14) and Flutters (7). Mosey back to the main…
Knocked out a traditional route. Took a few minutes to walk and read some of the local historical markers.
Got our usual 3 miles in on our ruck today. Wonka is our bird expert of the PAX and he confirmed what we thought was an owl was indeed just a stump. Glad we have these kinds of experts in our gang.
