2 Ruckers and 5 Runners posted to Atlee High School on this perfect and once again humid Tuesday for the Raider Run/Ruck. These were the routes. Ruckers – Went somewhere around Atlee. Runners – Did the farmhouse loop into Kings Charter and back for somewhere between 4 and 4.5 miles. COT: Numberarama, Name-O-Rama, Announcements, Opus took us out. NMS It was great having other runners today. Last week, YHC decided to walk with the ruckers since he was the solo runner posting. (YHC was okay with that idea last week.) Much of the conversation centered around Sunday’s storm and damage…

Still feeling the sting from the 25–4 loss on July 22 in ultimate, we opened with 100 Side Straddle Hops—25 for every point allowed, descending in height until the silent count, where the Q misfired and dropped arms early. The penalty: 10 burpees for all. From there, we pushed through a soaked U-shaped grinder of merkins, jump squats, and monkey humpers, followed by a brutal fence-line rotation on the tennis courts—core, legs, lungs all tested while one ran. A hill-triple-check brought the grind home, capped by a plank hold with each man choosing his own flavor of merkin. Warmarama: Don…

According to the buck watching us in the Ampitheater, this is how things went down early Saturday morning. An FNG and F3 Princeton transplant joined 11 regulars discussing whether we have ever had a 6am start at 80 degrees, at least according to Sippy’s weather app. No confirmation on whether this was a paid app. Mosey to the Circle for a warm up of standard fare – introducing the transplant to the jazzercise and other differently named exercises. Up and down the ampitheater – up with increasing merkins; down with increasing squats, back up again with 5 dips per step.…

Ten runners posted on Sunday at the Pump House for preseason training to prepare for the fall when temperatures and humidity should feel drastically different. The Route Most runners did the Buttermilk to North Bank loop for somewhere close to 7 miles. They forgot to do weigh-ins before and after the run. COT: Numberarama, Name-O-Rama, Announcements, Helix took us out. NMS Back in 2016 when YHC first posted with F3 RVA, the Corporate Challenge had been established. The Corporate Challenge was to post at the following locations in one week: Monday – Punisher Tuesday – No Toll Wednesday – Source…

Five kids and me showed up to The Deep to pass two COVID tests and also show that they count down from ten. Big accomplishments! The COVID tests were in honor of Tater. The company he works for used to be a COVID testing expert and Tater also has COVID–a new company benefit? After some warmups we did our first COVID test: 20 Calf raises, 20 Overhead presses, 20 V-ups, 20 incline merkins, 20 decline merkins. We passed. We then took a left down Graham Meadows Drive and starting with the first driveway on the left did ten merkins, then…

Four HIMs posted this morning to sling some iron for Mammoth Balls. A fellow brother mentioned that “only women use kettlebells under 35 pounds.” That comment had three of us briefly questioning our life choices… and our manhood. But we pressed on pride bruised here’s how it went down….. Warmarama All the wives and moms Arm circles Copperhead squats A lot of moaning Imaginary jump rope Thang Grab the cindy’s and kettlebells We made our way to the parking lot and lined up shoulder to shoulder. The format was simple. One PAX called out a kettlebell exercise for the group,…
