AS we gathered in the 67 degree morning and said this is so nice, we failed to remember the sweet that comes from running in the humidity! 5 miles later we were reminded of the bi-product of warm weather. 7 gathered for a run that covered many dark streets and turns that separated the pax eventually but all ended back up at the flag. Gomer and Transport continue to work on ailing body part and walked their own path but got out in the gloom to be part! Showing up is part of our mission and we appreciate them for…

530 AM and the Currahee fateful is ready to launch. Word has gotten out about this AO as we had double digits again this week. This week workout: Take the Hill Right on PumpLeft on Ridgefield Right on Glen Eagles We stopped at Glen Eagles to explain what we were doing. AYG to the stop sign at other end of Glen Eagles (.80 mile and a nasty ass hill 1/2 mile in). Recovery all the way back and circle back for the 6.. 30 second rest at start of Glen Eagles.. repeat. On the way back to AO we took…

11 fleet footed warriors came out prepared for rain. The rain held off until the last mile, and by then we needed it with the heat and humidity. Routes were: 4.5s: Left on Pump, go through Gayton light, past Lake then Left onto Waltham Dr. Left on Chauncey Ln. Chauncey turns into Raintree across Gayton. Raintree all way until hit Ridgefield. Left on Ridgefield then go past Pump, turn into Glen Eagles and go back on Old Prescott. This hits 4.5 miles. 5s: Same as 4s but take right into Eagles View off Ridgefield and go until hit Glen Eagles. …

A band of 4 gathered for a early morning jaunt around Western Henrico, Bro Code style Godwin to south on Pump, Left on Falconbridge, Left on Raintree, Left on Windbluff, Right on Willowick, Right on Avenham, Right on Raintree, then repeat the loop and left on Raintree, Left on Ridgefield, left on Glen Eagles, Left on Old Prescott and back to Godwin. 4.2 Miles Announcements/Prayer Request – Pigskin and Gomer while they are on their Honduras trip NMS – quiet morning, typical mumble chatter. Its good to see Hutton settling in as a regular at Currahee

4 runners took off wary of black ice and poor road conditions. All we found was bitter cold wind instead. Gomer did his Walking thing while other 3 did: pump to falconbridge all the way to Ridgefield. Ridgefield to Pump then loop around school. Handshake took us out.

Six stallions took down Currahee today for a cool morning run. 4.5 milers did Pump Three Chopt, John Rolfe. 2 miler did Pump, Falconbridge, Raintree to Maremont. Roger Roger took us out. NMS – 2 mi group rather quiet – lost in thoughts of why backblasts take days to get done when not done right away. How many neighborhoods is this route, officially? Whatever happened to English basements? How is this route exactly 2 miles – who came up with this and other various ruminations. There were a few discussions about why pax would HC a workout and then no…

Four redwoods gathered in the gloom for a nice easy if cool run. 4 mile route Ridgefield, Copperas, Church, Pump. 2 mile route into Raintree and back. EF Hutton took us out. NMS – Good to see EF Hutton out at Currahee. YHC is looking forward to getting moving a bit faster again.

Six showed to a spring themed brocode run. 4mi Route is Gypsy’s favorite: Pump, Church, Copperas, Ridgefield and return on Pump. 2mi Walk was out and back on Old Prescott and around MGHS. Handshake took us out NMS – not a lot of chatter after due to us scooting off to 3d F. Ghost sighting from Splinter as a bag of shoes appeared mid workout. Pigskin and YHC discussed living abroad, balance exercises, and our upcoming Honduras mission trip – Super excited he is joining us!

Six svelte west end stallions met for a nice tour on a feels much colder than 48F morning. Here is the route from the clipboard said: IR Route was a little like this. Still not sure what route Handshake took (or was planning), but sometimes thats what you get when you LIFO a running AO. ** Updated with handshake route.  This is a sturdy one.  Handshake took us out. Prayers for Upchuck’s M, GP’s M, and others at this time of year. NMS – based on some past experience YHC breathed a sigh of relief when the overdue PAX…

We had an exceptional morning out at Curahee! The pax showed up on this fine morning to put in some miles. The route was altered by Roger Roger to include 5 loops for the 5 mile group and 2 loops for the 4 mile group. With some doing 5.5 miles and some logging 4.5 miles. YHC covered 5.2 miles with the rest of the pax. The route- leave Curahee with a left on pump rd, left on sancrest, left on winding ridge, continue straight across falconbridge weaving our way through hickory ridge and back across falconbridge into willow glen, continue…
