9 hardened veterans in total showed up at Hoedown this morning.  Thankfully the rain ended last night and the morning was actually not bad at 69 degrees and humid. The Fireman started things off promptly at 5:30 which seemed to surprise Garbage Plate and Bodos. 5 RVA regulars and an out of town visitor sat in their cars for the light show until 0529 and jumped out to get the beatdown going.  As YHC contemplated what to do in case of lightning at an AO only visited once in the middle of the night the rain started to slow. THANG A few flashes took the warmup under the metal awning held up by metal posts, maybe not the best place but better than out in the open.  DQ, Helicopters, SSH, Alternating Shoulder Taps, LBC. Mosey to the corner of the blacktop for Compounding Four Corners.…

Five pax stood in the parking lot looking at each other wondering where all the regulars were and who was going to Q.  When asked who wants it, all pax but Lab Rat took one step back.  OK then, let’s do some experimenting! Original plan came to a screeching halt when we went to do a lap around the school only to be met by a formidable fence.    We straightened back out and got some COP done in front of the school.  Nothing fancy here, but get the muscles warmed up and stretched out. We then moseyed back to…

When YHC arrived, the Pax was light in numbers, but the Pax converged quickly with Mr Holland having three seconds to spare.  Mr Holland is the Atomic Clock.
