A lucky 13 ultimate warriors took to the perfect turf field of The Forge for a 6v7 game of Ultimate. Our captains Snuff and Oyster picked teams, trying to evenly split by footwear and height. Turns out neither of those variables matter, nor even an extra player. Team Snuff maintained a strong lead with excellent passing and TD runs, winning over Team Oyster 7-4. Thanks to L Woods for bringing the pinnies which helped a ton. Welcome to FNG Dopamine (Jacob from Midlothian area) who’s a premed undergrad at Randolph Macon currently shadowing DTH. Appreciate all you guys showing up…

Rudy spoke fondly of his memories playing disc golf as a young lad on a nice easy stroll through the park, enjoying the sunshine, libations, and barely breaking a sweat. Not at F3, and certainly not at Timberwolf Boys of Summer – we crank it up! Stroll through the woods to mix it up and to replicate the Remember the Titans training camp scene at the civil war battlefield (nailed it). Light warmup and got to work. YHC pointed out where the goal was located and simple rules:Number of strokes = burpeesIf you intercept a disc, thrower does 6 burpeesIf…

5 regulars and 1 FNG showed up for a Thursday morning beatdown at 45 Minutes of Mary. COT topic: Don’t look at porn Announcements: Pickleball on Mondays, can’t remember the other one…

YHC double dipped a V Posting and V Q at The Crossing. YHC was very inspired by the format of this years Summer Tour and the bonus point for Qing that YHC decided to attend a AO that’s traditionally very hard to attend given YHC’s work schedule. It was good to see the regulars (Tryhard, Broadway, Chaplin), the Summer Tourers (Pigskin, Blue Moon, Senor Frog), and the new faces (Cavity Search, Ghostbuster, Magnum PI (FNG), Birdman). Triple Checks, Touch a Tree, Pencil Rolls, etc were completed. It was warmer than mornings but the humidity was low and the breeze was…

Eight amigos toted their rucks around Larus Park next to the Stony Point Shopping Center for a power-hour of good times and hard work. The majority of the PAX kept their biceps modestly covered but Purple Rain would not be denied on this glorious morning. Inspired by PR’s pythons, YHC led us through the trails in a snake-like pattern for today’s 3.34mile trek. All eight returned to the flag for COT and then shared a coffee at Einstein’s to discuss the end of Jordan Peterson’s 12 Rules for Life, ideas for the next book, and the English…naturally. Announcements:- Summer Tour…

3 of New Kent’s hardest HIM’s came out to do some training on the wet Bermuda this gloom! Capital Gains sparked some training in us yesterday over the Slacks for Spartan in October. While YHC doesn’t know what training is entailed for a Spartan race it reminded me there’s a training I put on the back burner for doing the hardest mile so why not start there? We warmed up with various exercises: hillbilly’s, hand release merkins, lbc’s, cherry pickers and some others. We started off with 11’s – kb calf raises at the curb and kettle bell squats (touch your butt to the bench). The mumble chatter was hot so I had us do 4 corners. I chose the first 2-3 exercises and then we took turns (lawn mowers, curls, demon crushers, halos, calf raises, sit up with a pump, etc…). With all of the chatter you’d think my mouth would be tired but the conversation was so good I forgot about the suck and just…

Sixteen of my gloom brethren gathered for the third day of “it sounds like a good idea to sign up for three days in a row of Qs” Splinter Q. After a few hot brogans moseyed across the street and the stream of cars finally stopped with Hitch coming in hot, off we went for a quick loop around the lot before convening at our normal COP gathering place. 4 HIMs came out today to get the day started off right! Abbreviated warmup as Heist took forever to hang his F3 sign outside of the Green Mile parking lot, so we started off with some stretches and light exercises to warm up. Sign is now hung, grab your cinder block and let’s mosey! Round 1 – Bus Loop Starting with 6 reps, pax performs 6 jump squats and 6 curls, then runs to the 6th bus lane and back in one minute or less, then rest. Next set, 7x and run to 7th bus lane. We made it to…
