What a great morning in the gloom today! Weather was perfect, 15 deep PAX, an FNG that found us via Mens Alliance group and we kicked off the Week of Warby. After a nice jog to through the tunnel and back to the parking lot was the warmarama. Mission statement, 5 pillars and disclaimers. Imperial walkers, DMH, SSH, and a handful of wife stretches. YHC was just about to pack it up and head home when Hitchhiker pulled in to the club. We didn’t have a tabata timer, so we made do with 15 reps and a 20 second count in between sets. COP with SSHs, IWs, DQs, Merkins, and Freddy Mercurys. Then we moved into the tabata phase with Curls, Upright Rows, Triceps Extensions, Bench Press, Sit and Press, Swings, with laps around the track sprinkled in between. NMS: The PAX discussed summer plans, data science, AI, the job market, water bottles, and probably much more. It is always good to catch up…

We did something a bit different today to prepare for our Ultimate Frisbee coming up this weekend. Then we did a basic Frisbee Drill with red solo cups. Mobility workouts are generally not workouts, nor are they static stretching sessions. They are dynamic stretching moves that work well for workout warmups but also move the joints and muscles in ways that may prepare us for rigors of everyday life. Mobility List:- Calf Raises & Scoops- Knee rotations- Good Morning Hip Hinge and Squat Combo- Inchworm walkouts with pushupBelly: – Cobra- Back Extension with arm holds- Scorpions, toes to handsTable Top:-…

Two gentlemen got up extra early Thursday to run some hills. We met at Mt Midlo, the best hill this side of Twin Team. One mile warm up, then 8 times at 30 seconds hard effort up, starting from the bottom, follow by 30 seconds walking down, then jog the rest of the way to the start. Then 3 times from the middle to the top, followed by 1 time from top to bottom. TCLAPS to Big Rig, who was really pushing the pace! This was probably the hardest 3.5 mile, 45 minute run the YHC has done. At the…

11 PAX rolled into Rockwood under a sky so beautiful it felt like a setup—like the universe wanted us to suffer just a little bit extra in optimal conditions. Ponch with the Q, and as is tradition, had to c0me in hot with a plan to break PAX down and build them back stronger. Warm-Up: We kicked things off with heavy stretching because Ponch believes in two things: injury prevention and looking flexible in front of the group. Limbs loosened, egos intact—for now—we set off into what can only be described as a cardio-laced gauntlet. The Thang: We ran. Then we ran more. Somewhere…

It was a beautiful Saturday morning at the Lumberyard as 6 HIM’s started the weekend off strong! Choo Choo surprised us with a Q toss up for me and Yukon! This is what went down. We mosey over to the octagon for a warm up stretch led by Choo Choo – it was a pleasure to have Rosie come join us today as he was traveling to William and Mary to pick up his son. Warm up – side straddle hops, merkins, knee knockers, arm circles, chinooks and some other stuff! We made our way over to the secret hiding…

7 battle-hardened warriors met at wawa on a crisp spring morn…we headed out with a determination to serve along with a Relay hardywood donation of bangin foot support for the men in buckingham. The car-ride chatter was pleasing a fullfilling, the farts were displeasing and wretched. We rolled up early, did a practice mosey, nancy led us in bro-ga, and the 3 men we were there to see emerged ready for a beat down. YHC gave it his best. COP introductions, a short warmarama in the F3 way, then the THANG 1st up was Dojo Dan with instx on front…
